I don't see a graph but the solution to this problem would be x =0 when y = 1. You can substitute 1 for y in the equation given and solve for x:

y = 2x + 1

1 = 2x + 1

1 - 1 = 2x + 1 - 1

0 = 2x

0/2 = 2x/2

0 = x

The graph should show a point at (0,1) where the two lines meet.
