(x+1)(x-1)(x-4) =
(x^2-1)(x-4) =
x^3 -4x^2 -x + 4
just take each zero and change its sign, then stick an x in front of it
4 becomes -4 then add the x to get a factor of x-4. Same with the 1 and -1
then multiply the 3 factors together to get the cubic polynomial.
