Jessica earned a total of $812 in simple interest from two separate accounts. In an account earning 7% interest, Jessica invested $2,000 more than three times the amount she invested in an account earning 3%. How much did she​ invest in each account?

Well, substitute y in the 2nd equation with (3x+2000). So you will have linear equation 0.03*x + 0.07*(3x+2000) = 812. Could you solve that?
