The diagonal can be presented as a hypothesis and since this is a square the legs of the hypotenuse must be the same value. first square the diagonal of 18 times sqrt(2) which is 18 squared times 2 which is 648. Then divide 648 by 2, since we are looking for a side of the square, which will be 324 for both legs of the hypotenuse. Then square root 324 which will be 18. So the sides of this square are all 18m. To find the perimeter do 18 times 4 which is 72 and that is the perimeter of the square.
