it says to solve I tried writing it in here but did not get the right answer so maybe writing it this way you can help me get the right answer.

(y-3)/2 > 1/2 -(y-5)/4

 

Multiply both sides by 4

 

2(y-3) > 2 -(y-5)

2y -6 > 7 -y

 

add y + 6 to both sides

 

3y > 13 

y>13/3
