There is an occurring pattern between each number.

14-8 = 6

24-14 = 10*

38-24 = 14**

(E.g. next one should be 56-38 = 18) ***

With this being said, to find the following numbers in the sequence, you must add 4 to the previous difference (this is the pattern to the difference between terms), so:

6+4 = 10*

10+4 = 14**

(E.g. next one should be 14+4 = 18) ***

and so on.

If you continue this pattern, the 15th term should be: 398

Looks like this is your pattern

difference between 14 and 8 is 6

difference between 24 and 14 is 10

difference between 38 and 24 is 14

so we should have a difference between your next number and 38 to be 18

so that is 56, difference between 56 and 38 is 18

the difference between your next number and 56 should be 22

the difference between to two last numbers goes up by 4 each time 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26

8,14,24,38,56,78.......keep going!!
