There is an occurring pattern between each number.
14-8 = 6
24-14 = 10*
38-24 = 14**
(E.g. next one should be 56-38 = 18) ***
With this being said, to find the following numbers in the sequence, you must add 4 to the previous difference (this is the pattern to the difference between terms), so:
6+4 = 10*
10+4 = 14**
(E.g. next one should be 14+4 = 18) ***
and so on.
If you continue this pattern, the 15th term should be: 398
