Multiply both sides by (7/4)
(7/4)*(4/7)x = (7/4)*(11/7)
When you cancel out the identical values, we are left with:
x = (77/28)
We can factor out (7/7) to give us (7/7)*(11/4) or simply (11/4). The decimal value is 2.75.
I'm actually not aware of why there would be restrictions on this answer. Looks reasonably safe and harmless to me. If there were a division by 0 somewhere, we'd have to place restrictions, but I don't see that here. Perhaps someone else could comment on this.
