One way to solve two equations as follows:
step 1:
3x + 5y = 6 multiple the entire equation by 4 so you get 12x + 20y = 24 OR
-4x + 2y = 5 multiple the entire equation by 3 so you get -12x + 6y = 15
step 2:
now add the two equations together! and solve for y
step 3:
now that you know y, solve for x by pulling that y number into the equation
alternative step 1:
(you can also multiple the first equation by 2
and the second equation by -5)
