Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
in base 10, 2+2 = 4
in base 2, there is no 2, just 0 and 1: 4 would = 100
in base 3, 2+2 = 11
in base 4, 2+2 = 10
in base 5, 2+2 = 4
in base 5 or more, 2+2 = 4
(see Prof. Sheldon Cooper explain base 5 to Penny, or be in the 5th grade taking a common core math class where teachers confuse children beyond their years)
2+2 usually is 4 as base 10 is most common, but that does require the same units
2 apples + 2 oranges does not equal 4
2(infinity) + 2(infinity) = 4 infinity = infinity. IF you try to understand the mathematics of infinity, you may go insane like Cantor.
