Multiply the 2nd equation by 2. Rearrange 2nd equation so 6y is alone and on the left of the equals sign. Subtract the two equations. You end up with 0=0, no solution. Both equations are the same!
Multiply second equation by -2 then add first equation to it, once again everything cancels out and you end up with 0=0 so no solution
