So it sounds like you've found the two intercepts all that is left is to calculate the slope using the slope formula.
I will use the x intercept (1,0) as (x1,y1) and the y intercept as (x2,y2).
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) ---> m=(-3-0)/(0-1) ---> m=(-3)/(-1) ---> m=3
The slope of the line would be 3.
