So it sounds like you've found the two intercepts all that is left is to calculate the slope using the slope formula.

I will use the x intercept (1,0) as (x_{1},y_{1}) and the y intercept as (x_{2},y_{2}).

m=(y_{2}-y_{1})/(x_{2}-x_{1}) ---> m=(-3-0)/(0-1) ---> m=(-3)/(-1) ---> m=3

The slope of the line would be 3.
