solve each equation in the form y=mx+b. m=slope b= the intercept. y=-2x -3/2
only C can be solved for y and get -2x-3/2
slope =-2, the coefficient of the x term when the equation is solved for y
when solved for y, the constant term is the y intercept
B has a y intercept of -3/2 but it's slope is 2, not -2
A and D have the wrong intercept
