5 or 3.90 is 78 cents per can 3.9/5 = $.78
9 cans cost 9 x 78 = 702 cents = $7.02
10 cans would be twice the cost of 5 or $7.80
subtract the cost of one can $7.80-.78 = $7.02 or 9 cans
