Ok so I am doing a assignment and I can’t answer the question but the question is : you bought 5 cans of peach at the grocery store for 3.90. if you go back and buy 9 of the same cans , how much will you pay this time?

5 or 3.90 is 78 cents per can 3.9/5 = $.78

9 cans cost 9 x 78 = 702 cents = $7.02

10 cans would be twice the cost of 5 or $7.80

subtract the cost of one can $7.80-.78 = $7.02 or 9 cans
