There is not quite right Islam did extent to Europe through the Moors which came from resent day Morocco but they only managed t conquer the Iberian Peninsula, where present day Spain and Portugal are, and did begin to Invade France however a series of battles ending in the battle of Tours the Moors were pushed back by the Franks into Spain and the Moors were unable to conquer France after that. Islam therefore never extended to France from the Moors.
