the last choice, y=-5x + 2. slope =-2 = the coefficient of the x term, when the equation is solved for y
plug the point (0,2) which means x=0 and y=2 into that equation to get
2 = 5(0) + 2 = 0+2 = 2. It works. Do that with the other 2 equations and it doesn't work
y=-5x, 2=-5(0) 2=0 doesn't work. 2 doesn't equal 0.
or
y=2x-5, 2=2(0)-5 = 0-5 = -5, but 2 doesn't equal -5
