Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
f(x) -g(x) = 7x^2 -5x -1
3x^2 -5x + 2 = f(x)
-4x^2 +3 = g(x)
7x^2 - 5x - 1
Just subtract like terms: subtracting a negative number is the same as changing its sign and adding
3x^2 - - 4x^2 = 3x^2 + 4x^2 = 7x^2
2-3 = -1
