The question is usually which is cheaper, or how many hours will make the cost the same for each

set f(x) = g(x) = 2.5x + 6 = 4x +3

1.5x = 3

x = 2 hours is when the cost is the same for each

since you want it for the day, which is probably more than 2 hours

you'd save money going with the kayak
