On the playground of the nerdiest school ever, an argument has broken out amongst a group of friends. The question is, simply, "Who would win?"

The contestants are the ancient Spartans, titans of warfare that they were, and the Macedonian army led by Alexander the Great. Before the whole argument devolves into a schoolyard fistfight, your friends turn to you to be the judge: who would win when it came down to conquering an empire, the Spartan civilization or the Macedonian civilization of Alexander?

Alexander the Great has proven himself through his military might and conquered many other nations. He built upon them and founded cities in his name including Alexandria Egypt.

Whereas the Spartans never created large empires through their battles.
