Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
A+S = 63
S=63-A
3.75A + 1.75S = 194.25
3 3/4 A + 1 3/4 S = 194 1/4
(15/4)A + (7/4)S = 777/4
15A + 7S = 777
15A + 7(63-A) = 777
8A = 777- 441 = 336
A = 336/8 = 42
A = 42 adult tickets
S = 63-42 = 21 student tickets

This answer is not right, it should be 42 adult tickets sold for the upcoming school play. If the answer was 21, the total amount of ticket sales would only be $152.25, not $194.25 as stated in the question.12/17/20
