So I am confused, question is "Use the following unit conversions for the question that follows":

1 snerk = 14 elemarks

1 elemark = 20 metrenarks

1 tanark = 5 snerks

100 square snerks is ____ square tanarks.

I do not know how to do this since I do not know what square snerks or square tanarks mean. For example, would 100 square snerks just be 100 snerks or the square root of 100 square snerks or would it be 100 snerks squared

This makes me confused

1 tanark = 5 snerks

Let's square both sides to get squared units:

(1 tanark)² = (5 snerks)²

1 square tanark = 25 square snerks

Multiply both sides by 4 to get 100 square snerks:

4 square tanarks = 100 square snerks

Flip it around:

100 square snerks = 4 square tanarks
