In his first observation he noted that 6 ounces of water dripped in 10 minutes

Using Mr.green observation can you help him figure out how much water would have dripped in only 5 minutes

Assuming the the flow is constant
 
3 ounces of water would drip in 5 minutes, i.e. half the amount of what was dripped in 10 mins.
