Socialism at its core is about nationalizing private industry to meet national goals. Socialist agriculture policy might be something like the government subsidizing farmers, or buying the farmers' food and distributing it for them. But in its truest sense, a socialist agricultural policy would be one where the government owns and controls the food production within the state. Farmers are government employees and have often have to meet quota.
In answering this question you may also want to mention the traditional socialist focus on industrialization. Many socialist countries take control of farms in an effort to move the country away from farming and towards manufacturing, but this is not always the case.
