A parallelogram, UVWX, will have point K in the center to divide the lengths of UK and WK.
UK = 2x - 1 and WK = 7
Since those lengths are congruent, we will set those measurements equal to each other to find x.
2x - 1 = 7 → 2x = 8 → x = 4
By plugging in 4 for x, we get UK = WK = 7.
