When you think of x and Y intercepts, you need to think of where those intercepts are located in the graph. The x 's intercepts are always placed on x axis, therefore the y value is always =0 .
So , in this case to identify the x intercepts , you replace the y in your equation with 0 and solve for x.
5x * 10*0 =30
5x=30 => x =6 , therefore the x intercept as a coordinate point is (6,0).
For y intercepts , these are located on the y axis, therefore as a representation of a coordinate pair, your x always =0.
You can replace x=0 and solve for y or try to put the equation in the slope form y=mx +b ( 0, b) is your intercept.
if we replace x=0 => 5*0 +10y =30.
10y=30. => y=3. ; y intercept is (0,3)
