Log₂(x+1)-log₂(x-1)=1

find the domain and solution

i got x<-1, x>1 for my initial answer for the domain and then I got x=3 for my solution but it’s wrong.

The equation given is equivalent to (x+1)/(x-1)=2...which you can hopefully solve.
