I assume that R5 means the Riemann Sum with right endpoints and 5 equal subintervals.
Δx = width of each subinterval = [1 - (-1)] / 5 = 2/5
Let f(x) = 3x2 + 8x
Then R5 = f(-3/5)(2/5) + f(-1/5)(2/5) + f(1/5)(2/5) + f(3/5)(2/5) + f(1)(2/5)
Do the calculations to get the answer.
