3y=-x + 6
y = (-1/3)x + 2
a perpendicular line will have slope = 3, the negative inverse of -1/3
y=3x + b, to find b plug in the point (-1,-6) to get
-6 = 3(-1) + b
b = -3
the perpendicular line through the point (-1,-6) is
y=3x -3
