Isosceles right triangle means two sides are exactly the same length.
So,
One leg=6inches then that means the other leg measures the same.
Now we can use Pythagorean Theorem to solve for the Isosceles right triangle.
Pythagorean Theorem:
a2+b2=c2
62+62=c2 <---- now solve for c which represents the hypotenuse
36+36=c2
72=c2
√72=√c2
√36*2=c
6√2=c
