P = perimeter of the garden with fencing around the sides

P = 266 feet

w = x

l = w + 5 = x + 5

2l + 2w = P

2(x + 5) + 2x = 266

2x + 10 + 2x = 266

4x + 10 = 266

4x = 256

x = 64

The length of the garden is 69 feet and the width of the garden is 64 feet.
