well the slope is (11-7)/(3-5) = 4/-2 = -2

So you can do:

y-7 = -2(x-5) <-- using (5,7)

or

y-11 = -2(x-3) <--- using (3,11)

the first one says: y -7 = -2x+10

y = -2x+17

the 2nd one says: y = -2x+6+11

= -2x+17
