This can be determined by imagining the points on a graph of the line and then drawing a right triangle. I marked the two points on a graph and drew a right triangle as shown below:
We can calculate lines A and B with the data. Line A's length is (-2 -(-5)) = 3. Line B is 3-(-3) = 6. Now you can calculate the hypotenuse (H) by A2 + B2 = H2, or 32 + 62 = H2. H2 = 45 , H = 6.071 Bob
