The perimeter of a triangle is the length of side A plus the length of side B plus the length of side C.
Let "x" be the length of side A. That means the length of side B is "2x" and the length of side C is "x + 3".
So (x) + (2x) + (x + 3) = 23
4x + 3 = 23
4x = 20
x = 5
So side A is 5 inches long, side B is 10 inches long, and side C is 8 inches long
