What is the formula for Height of a Prism
The volume of a prism is V=Bh I want to know how to solve for the height.
-------
In algebra when you "SOLVE" for a variable, you isolate that variable to one side of the equation like so...
V = Bh.........we want the on one side of the equation.....so....
V/B = h.......we divide both sides of the equation by B...and we get....h = V/B

You TUTOR Yes....just pay attention to your units when you are working Areas and Volumes....make sure you are using the same UNITS OF MEASURE inches...feet....yards...etc..so your result height calculation should be in inches...Right?10/28/20
