What are the zeros of the function f(x)=x^2-5x ?

x^2 is to the x squared

can i replace f(x) with zero then subtract it from both sides?

if you subtract you would lose one of the solutions. number of roots (zeros) is equal to power of x (exponent); since u have x² then u have to have 2 zeros (2 roots).
