multiplying or dividing an inequality changes the direction of the inequality
Solve for x by isolating the variable on one side of the inequality sign:
-2x + 4 < 10
-2x + 4 - 4 < 10 - 4
-2x < 6
-2x ÷ -2 < 6 ÷ -2
x > -3
