The sum of four consecutive integers are -64 write an equation to determine the smallest of the integers

Four consecutive integers means they will be in order e.g. 5,6,7,8 so we can write the following equation:

x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) + (x + 3) = -64

x will be the smallest number in this equation
