Slope-intercept form of a line's equation is written in y=mx+b where y is the output of the equation when you put a number in for x. m is the value of the slope. And b is the value of the y-intercept. When these values are negative, we include the negative sign when we write out the equation. For example, a line with slope (m) -8 and y-intercept (b) -3 would be described by y=(-8)x + (-3), or, more simply, as y = -8x - 3. To answer your question, its equation would be y = -2x -9.
