The given line can be rewritten as y=-(1/6)x+1. Our line will have equation y=Ax+B where we have to identify the constants A, B. Since we need the two lines to be perpendicular we must have that -(1/6)A=-1 which implies that A=6. In addition, our line needs to pass thought the point (-1,-6) and thus, we must have -6=-6+B or B=0. Therefore, our line will have the equation y=6x.
