N is the set of integers that are greater than or equal to −3 and less than 1.
You might find it helpful to draw it on a number line.
The boundaries are -3 (inclusive) and +1 (exclusive).
"Roster form" is just a fancy way of saying write out the numbers! :-)
N = { -3, -2, -1, 0}
We include 0 because it is an integer, and we don't include 1 because the question says less than.
