To solve for t, we want to get t by itself on its side of the equation. Currently, t is being multiplied by p and r. To undo this, we divide both sides of the equation by p and r. It looks something like this:
1) I = prt .........................................next, we divide by p*r
2) I / (pr) = prt / (pr) .......................we can simplify prt / pr to just t because pr/pr equals 1
3) I/pr = t
