Projectile algebra

Question

A projectile is fired from the ground with an initial velocity of 240 feet per second d. Assume that the height of the projectile at any time t can he described by the polynomial function P(t)=-16t²+240t.

(Two part answers, first is: the height of the projection at t=1 second is______. Cant see second part answer portion becuae I cant figure out this question)!

t=1 ---> -16 + 240 = 226

for the fun of it: 0= -16t^2 + 240t = -4t( 4t - 60) --> t=0 and t=15

the projectile is on the group at t=0 and t=15 seconds

the max occurs at -b/(2a) = -240/(-32) = 120/16 = 60/8 = 30/4 = 15/2 = 7.5 seconds

this makes sense because the object hits the ground at 15 seconds, so

the max occurs half way at t=7.5

the max height is -16(7.5)^2 + 250 * 7.5 = 900
