Form a polynomial whose zeros & degree are given

Zeros: 8 multiplicity: 1, -3 multiplicity: 2 degree: 3

write a polynomial with integer coefficients and a leading coefficient of 1

(x-8)(x+3)^2 = 0

(x-8)(x^2+6x+9)=0

x^3 -2x^2 -39x -72 = 0

just change the sign of each zero and add it to x, you get x-8 and two x--3's

then expand and multiply it out.
