P = k / V => PV = k

where k is constant.

If Pressure increases, Volume decreases and vice versa.

Since PV is constant

P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

P₂ = P₁V₁ / V₂

P₂ = 35 * 60/ 42 = 50 lb/in²
