1) pi and 10^2 are just numbers so divide both sides of the equation by (!10)^2 pi to solve for h
h = 628/100pi=
2) 2x +5y=3y +8. Subtract 3y and 2x from both sides
2y = -2x +8.
y = -x +4

π(10)2h = 628
For the area of a circle, you will solve for h. Divide both sides by π and 102.
h = 628/π(10)2 = 628/100π = 6.28/π or approximately 2.
2x + 5y = 3y + 8
Subtract 3y on both sides → 2x + 2y = 8
Subtract 2x on both sides → 2y = 8 - 2x
Divide both sides by 2 → y = (8 - 2x)/2
