Hi Ej,

So the first thing to do, is to look to see if you can determine a pattern in the sequence. As you may have guessed, each difference is one less than the previous difference. For example, the diffference between 80 and 70 is 10, and the difference between 70 and 61 is 9, th difference between 61 and 53 is 8 and so forth.

Now if we use the equation for a quadratic sequence , we get the formula 1/2(n^2 - 23n + 182).
