I dont really get this topic hope you can help me as this is a new topic to me also after the foil method how do i get the dimensions

A + WL = (3+L)L = 3L + L^2 = 18

L^2 + 3L - 18 = 0

(L+6)(L-3) = 0

L= 3 meters (ignore the negative 6)

W + 3+L = 6 meters

6x3 = 18 meters squared
