I have a simple question about a medication; it is a cough syrup and the directions say:

to take 2 teaspoons every eight hours for cough.

my question is using those instructions/directions that are on the cough syrup bottle how many days will that last me?

1 ml = .202884 teaspoons

1 teaspoon = 1/.202884 ml = 4.92892 ml

typical cough drop bottle is 3.4 ounces = 100 ml

2 teaspoons every 8 hours = 6 teaspoons per day = 29.57352 ml daily

100/29.57352 = 3.3814 days

= 81.154 hours

= about 3 days 9 hours 9 minutes 13 1/4 seconds

unless you realize there's alcohol in the syrup, like it too much & drink it all in the first few minutes

which makes the math calculations much easier even if you hate math

if so, best not to drive or you could get arrested for a dui/dwi
