WE use slope -point equation of line: y - 1 = - 0.5(x - 10); so y = - 0.5x + 6.
If x = 0then y = 6;
(0,6) is y-intercept

Given point: (10, 1) and the slope is -0.5.
We will plug those values in the point-slope form and convert it into slope-intercept form.
y - y0 = m(x - x0) → y = mx + b
y - 1 = -0.5(x - 10)
y - 1 = -0.5x + 5
y = -0.5x + 6
The y-intercept of the line is @ (0, 6) where b = 6.
