When two angles form a Linear Pair, their sum is 180 degrees

Let ∠1 = x

Let ∠2 = 2x + 6

Since their sum is 180 then

x + 2x + 6 = 180

3x + 6 =180

3x = 180 - 6

3x = 174

x = 174/3

x = 58

Then

∠2 = 2x + 6 = 2(58) + 6 = 122º
