Hello, Mallory,
m = np-r
Add r to both sides:
m + r = np
Let's switch sides so that p is on the left:
np=(m + r)
Then divide by n:
p=(m+r)/n
I hope this helps,
Bob

Hello, I can help you too. m=np-r Use this when ideas do not come to you. If r is negative, it will go to the left side doing the opposite, being positive. m+r=np Now you need to do the same with n. n is multiplying p. So if n has to go to the left side will be doing the opposite that is division. (m+r)/n=p So, always move with the opposite sign all numbers or letters in an equation. It is an easy way to find out when everything seems difficult in an equation. It is the same result.09/10/20
